POWs from Northern Sudan held under capture in the south, near Juba

English/Nat The civil war in southern Sudan has created around a thousand prisoners of war. Sudanese government forces, many suffering from malaria and dysentery and some as young as 12, are being held in camps in the south. The Southern People's Liberation Army, who is holding them, says the Khartoum government refuses to acknowledge the prisoners' existence.
